Our Story

Kettle Creek Players was founded in 2023 with a simple goal: to bring people together through the joy of live theatre. As a non-profit community theatre group, we believe in creating a space where laughter, storytelling, and shared experiences can connect audiences of all ages

Every December, we light up the stage with a classic British Pantomime—better known as a “Panto.” These unique productions are unlike anything else in theatre. They take familiar fairytales and fables and give them a playful twist, filled with outrageous costumes, oversized props, and plenty of comedy. What makes a Panto truly special is the audience—your cheers for the heroes and boos for the villains are all part of the fun. It’s theatre that breaks the fourth wall, inviting everyone to join in the story.

Our productions are designed to be a celebration of community: families laughing together, kids discovering theatre for the first time, and neighbours sharing in the holiday spirit. By bringing this beloved British tradition to our stage, we’re building a new tradition right here in our community—one that is bright, silly, and endlessly fun.

At Kettle Creek Players, we’re more than just a troupe of performers. We’re volunteers, families, and friends who share a love for storytelling and a passion for making theatre accessible, entertaining, and inclusive. Whether you’re on stage, behind the scenes, or in the audience, you’re part of our story too.
